About this Expedition
Deployment through the South Valley to the iconic Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca). Hike surrounded by herds of alpacas and llamas above the critical altitude line.

04:00 am pickup southward. Breakfast at Cusipata. Drive to checkpoint (4600m). Moderate to challenging 4 km uphill hike (1.5 to 2 hours) to the summit at 5200m facing Ausangate. Time for photography. Return, buffet lunch at Cusipata and Cusco arrival at 17:30.
