4:00 am pickup to Ollantaytambo. Train to Km 104. Passport checkpoint. 3 to 4-hour hike to Wiñaywayna terraces for a picnic lunch. 2-hour trek to Intipunku (Sun Gate) for sunset over Machu Picchu. Bus down to Aguas Calientes.
Breakfast at hotel and boarding first buses to the archaeological site. 2 to 3-hour guided tour through central plazas, aqueducts, shrines, and terraces. Bus down to Aguas Calientes and return via panoramic train.
