04:00 am pickup towards Cusipata for an Andean breakfast. Travel past Checacupe to the Cayrahuiri base. Technical talk and 15-minute practice. We replace the long trek with a 30-minute ATV uphill ride. Short final hike to the summit at 5200m facing the scenery. Return ride, buffet lunch at Cusipata, and Cusco arrival at 17:00.
